Cyrus Blackmore (Outside Sales)

Cy joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1963 as an outside salesman.  Cy worked for Bell & Gossett on a co-op program between 1958-61 before completing his Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois in 1961.  Cy is a member of ASHRAE, and served as president of the St. Louis Chapter in 1981-82.  He received the chapter’s Hermann F. Spoehrer award in 1991.  He has been a member of ASHRAE TC 8.1 (Pumps and Hydronic Piping) since 1992.  He served as president of the Fluid Handling Representatives Association in 1987-88.  He has worked in both the Kansas City and St. Louis locations.  He served as president of Blackmore and Glunt from 1985-99.  He currently serves as CEO and Chairman of the Board.  Cy is a registered professional engineer in the states of Missouri and Illinois.

Scott Blackmore (Outside Sales)

Scott joined Blackmore & Glunt in 1993 as an outside salesman covering southern Illinois and southeast Missouri. He became Secretary/Treasurer in 1999, and began covering St. Louis in 2000. In 2005 he became sales manager and then Vice President in 2010. Currently Scott is focused on sales management and business development. Scott assisted in the design of the Flow Conditioning “eVap” product. He is a member of ASHRAE and served as St. Louis Chapter president in 2004-2005, and as Region VI Regional Vice Chair for Membership from 2005-2008. In 2013 Scott received the ASHRAE Chapter Service Award for his service to the St. Louis Chapter.

Kevin Brueggeman (Service Technician)

Kevin joined Blackmore and Glunt in 2017 as a Service Technician. Kevin is responsible for troubleshooting, start-up, and repairing equipment in the warranty period. Kevin attended Linn State and earned an A.A.S. in Industrial Electricity.

David Creasy (Service Manager/Customer Service Representative)

Dave joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1987 and became Service Manager in 2014. As Service Manager, Dave schedules service technicians to address start-up and warranty concerns. Dave also serves as a customer service representative. Dave’s customer service duties include fielding calls for all parts and stocked product, order entry, order tracking, equipment receipts, and assembly of pumps and motors.

Dana Fellows (Controller)

Dana joined Blackmore and Glunt as Controller in 2014.  Dana is responsible for all accounting functions, including supervising the accounting department. She also is responsible for Human Resources and Employee Benefits. Dana has an extensive background with these responsibilities, as well as experience with Microsoft Great Plains.

Doug Garrison (Pump Assembly)

Doug Garrison joined Blackmore and Glunt’s Customer Service Department in 2005 as a Shipper/Receiver and currently works in the pump assembly/repair department.

 

James Glunt (Outside Sales)

James joined Blackmore and Glunt in 2016 as an outside salesman. He graduated from Texas Christian University (TCU) in 2016 with a degree in Supply and Value Chain Management. He interned at Bell & Gossett during the summer of 2014 in the Marketing Management department and completed an 8 week product and systems Bell & Gossett training program in 2016. He is a member of ASHRAE and currently calls on St. Louis wholesalers and mechanical contractors.

John Glunt (Outside Sales)

John joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1976 as an outside salesman. He completed his Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in 1976. John is a member of ASHRAE and has served on TC 6.1 (Steam and Hydronic Systems) since 1983. He was chairman of that committee from 1990-92 and is currently the Handbook Subcommittee chairman. He served as president of the Fluid Handling Representatives Association in 1994-95, 2005-2006, and 2014-2015. John was co-awarded a patent with his father, Gordon Glunt, in 1998 for the “Flange Adapter”, a cast, short-length concentric reducer that is drilled and tapped. The flange adapter is currently manufactured by Flow Conditioning Corporation. He has worked in both the St. Louis and Kansas City locations. John became president of Blackmore and Glunt in 1999, and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Kansas.

Robert Glunt (Outside Sales)

Robert joined Blackmore and Glunt in 2004 as an outside salesperson. He is responsible for company-wide operations, finance, and information technology. He became Treasurer in 2009, CFO in 2011, and Vice President in 2014. Robert graduated in 2004 from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelors of Science in Communication Studies. He earned an MBA from Saint Louis University in 2011. He is a member of ASHRAE and served as St. Louis chapter President during the 2013-2014 year. Robert served as Chairman of the FHRA/Xylem eBusiness Task Force from 2014-2017 and helped develop ESP-Systemwize.

Christopher Harris (Customer Service Representative)

Chris joined Blackmore and Glunt’s in 2012 as a Shipper/Receiver. In 2015, he transferred to a Customer Service role. Chris’ customer service duties include backing up incoming calls, fielding calls for all parts and stocked product, order entry, order tracking, and equipment receipts.

 

Dennis Hischke (Customer Service Technician)

Dennis Hischke joined Blackmore and Glunt’s Customer Service Department in 1988 as a Service Technician.  Dennis is responsible for troubleshooting, solving problems and repairing equipment.  Dennis attended Lewis & Clark Vocation Technical School and has been in the HVAC industry since 1979.

Greg Hoekstra (Outside Sales)

Greg joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1997. He has worked in customer service and inside sales. He covers southern Illinois, western Kentucky and southeast Missouri, along with some St. Louis accounts. Greg graduated from University of Phoenix in 2013 with a degree in communications.

Bill Holtshouser (Customer Service Technician)

Bill Holtshouser joined Blackmore and Glunt’s Customer Service Department in 1997 with 20 years experience as a Boeing Electronics Systems Test  Engineer.   Bill is responsible for the assembly, testing and quality control of Hydronic Indicators and Trumpet Valves.

Ed Masterson (Outside Sales)

Ed joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1993. He earned his Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1988. Ed also earned a Certificate in Control Systems Technology from Rankin in 2000. He gained valuable experience selling wastewater pumps and related equipment during a three year stint with Blackmore and Glunt’s former sister company, Progress Environmental. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Missouri. Currently, Ed covers a variety of geography, calling on both industrial and HVAC customers.

Lynn Morice (Business Systems/Data Entry)

Lynn Morice joined Blackmore and Glunt’s Accounting Department as a Computer Operator in 1985. Lynn is responsible for data entry, order entry, accounts receivable, accounts payable and various accounting functions.

Angie Neal (Inside Sales)

Angie joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1986. She reviews plans and specifications, prepares quotations and submittals, fields calls from customers, and supports outside sales. She also schedules Little Red Schoolhouse Training.

Karey Nix (Accounts Receivable/Receptionist)

Karey Nix joined Blackmore and Glunt’s Customer Service Department in 1997. Karey is responsible for Order Entry, Receivables, Reception and assists the Sales Department by furnishing submittals and IOM’s to customers.

Larry Rogers (Inside Sales)

Larry joined Blackmore and Glunt in 2012. He reviews plans and specifications, prepares quotations, fields calls from contractors, engineers, wholesalers, and end-users for all engineered product. He supports outside personnel.

Timothy Ruff (Office Manager/Purchasing)

Tim joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1980. Tim became Office Manger in 2014. In this role, he manages the office, customer service, the warehouse and warranty returns. As Purchasing Agent, Tim’s responsibilities include maintaining inventory in all three Blackmore and Glunt warehouses, coordinating the building of stock pumps, handling factory warranty, sourcing new vendors, expediting orders, verifying acknowledgments and approving factory invoices. Tim has experience in customer service, inside sales, and purchasing.

John Schmidt (Outside Sales)

John joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1979 as an HVAC outside salesman. He earned his Bachelors of Engineering Management from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1979. He worked for a year and a half in Blackmore and Glunt’s Kansas City office before coming to St. Louis. He is a member of ASHRAE and is a registered professional engineer in the states of Missouri and Illinois. John currently covers central Illinois.

Bobbie Seibold (Quotations Manager/Inside Sales)

Bobbie joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1990. She reviews plans and specifications, prepares quotations, fields calls from contractors, engineers, wholesalers, and end-users for all engineered product. She supports outside personnel.

DJ Smith (Shipper/Receiver)

DJ joined Blackmore and Glunt’s Customer Service Department in 2015 as a Shipper/Receiver and assists customers at the city counter.

Richard Waite (Traffic Manager/Customer Service Representative)

Rich joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1980. As St. Louis Traffic Manager, Rich is responsible for negotiating and coordinating shipments of all equipment and resolution of all freight claims. Rich’s customer service duties include fielding calls for all parts and stocked product, order entry, order tracking and proof of delivery.

Bryan Walsh (Shipper/Receiver)

Bryan joined Blackmore and Glunt’s Customer Service Department in 2013 as a Shipper/Receiver and assists customers at the city counter.

Dave Westbrook (Outside Sales)

Dave joined Blackmore and Glunt in 2017 as an outside salesman. He earned his Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville in 1992. Dave has 18+ years of previous sales experience representing hydronic, plumbing, and industrial products. Dave calls on specifying engineers in the St. Louis market and is a member of ASHRAE.
